Mosquitoes are always annoying, they not only affect our lives, but also may spread diseases. Therefore, people have made unremitting efforts and finally developed two methods to deal with mosquitoes. The first is to attract mosquitoes to a specific location and then use auxiliary methods to kill them; the second is to drive mosquitoes away in some way. Next, we will analyze their principles one by one.
Table of Contents
How To Attract Mosquitoes?
The working principle of the mosquito killer lamp is a bit complicated because it needs to both attract and kill insects.
How does the Mosquito Killer Lamp work?
After research, it was found that mosquitoes particularly like 365nm ultraviolet light. Therefore, we use this type of LED inside the lamp to attract mosquitoes.
In addition, mosquitoes also like the temperature of the human body. Therefore, we simulate the temperature of the human body, 37 degrees Celsius, by generating electricity through a circuit to increase the trapping ability.
How To Kill Mosquitoes?
We use a high-voltage electric grid to instantly release high voltage of 2000V-4000V to eliminate mosquitoes.
Another method is to use continuous discharge of 1800V to kill mosquitoes. Since a single discharge may not be enough to kill mosquitoes, continuous discharge has better results.
For safety reasons, we have added a layer of ABS cover outside the electric grid to prevent children and pets from touching the internal grid.
How Does Mosquito Repellent Lamp Work?
In contrast, the working principle of the mosquito repellent lamp is relatively simple, as it only needs to drive mosquitoes away.
Ultrasonic Mosquito Repellent
It was found that the auditory nerves of mosquitoes are very fragile, so they can be driven away by emitting ultrasonic waves.
The range of ultrasonic waves is usually between 20 kHz and 65 kHz, beyond the range of human hearing, so people cannot hear these sounds. Ultrasonic mosquito repellent lamps use these ultrasonic waves to interfere with the behavior of mosquitoes and drive them away.
Specific Wavelength LED Mosquito Repellent
It was also found that insects particularly dislike orange light with a wavelength of 530-590nm. Therefore, Fligreen has developed specific wavelength and color LEDs in collaboration with suppliers, installed in solar wall lights, to repel mosquitoes.
Conclusion
By understanding the principles behind mosquito control, we can create a safer, more comfortable environment. Whether through innovative technologies or simple yet effective methods, the fight against mosquitoes is constantly evolving. Let’s embrace these solutions and enjoy mosquito-free spaces, improving our quality of life in the process.
As an innovative solar light company, Fligreen is always thinking about how to use better products to bring greater convenience to human life. You are welcome to communicate with us!
